As we sit in the studio with the snow coming down, we are excited to announce our upcoming releases for the new year. First up will be the long awaited and delayed second full expansion for Chronofields. It will release this Spring and is currently in the editing and final art review phase. We plan to send it off to our printer by early March. The theme of the expansion centers around the American wild west but also builds upon the previous expansion, Haunting Fields. While there are no artist collaborations or other exciting news like we had during the Primal Spirit launch, this expansion looks to build upon the moderate success of the game title and is long overdue because of the issues faced by the studio during some of the worst of the Covid outbreak two years ago.
Another long overdue release that is currently in the writing and art development stage is the fifth, and likely final, full expansion for True Agenda. This one builds upon the already robust additions to the combat system and also looks to add additional timeline options for players and directors looking for more detailed and in-depth storytelling. We are anticipating a late Fall release for this one like we typically do, and this expansion will likely be the final thing we release this year.
While we wanted to try to push out more releases, we did not want to rush anything and overtax the studio resources, especially with us planning to release a new game system in 2025. This is not to say things couldn’t turn out differently, but we just currently are not planning any more for this year. We will have a better idea about future projects once the Chronofields expansion releases and the writing is complete for the True Agenda expansion. As always, keep checking here and across our social media platforms for more information as the year progresses.
