Upcoming Game Title Release Info!

The long days of writing, finishing artwork, and editing are behind us here at the studio as we get closer to releasing our 2nd full tabletop role playing game title. Everything has been sent to the printer and now we are awaiting review of the files. The release date will be dependent upon how things go at the printer, as it took a bit longer to complete the game this time around. There is a second contingency date that will work should the printing process need more time.

During this time we will be updating the website with information and links for the new game. It will be primarily sold through Drive Thru RPG as our other titles have in the past, but it will also be available for sale directly through us here.

With this major project wrapping up, we look forward to next year. We have a busy schedule already, with more reveals coming shortly after we release our newest game. We have some interesting and different ideas that we plan to do beyond our normal fare of releasing expansions as we further diversify our gaming products. Stay tuned!

Post Expansion Release Day

Yesterday (08 08 18) was a successful release of our newest tabletop game product! High Seas Encounters is a 40-page expansion for the True Agenda roleplaying game. Reception has been pretty good so far, with sales occurring both here and over at Drive Thru RPG. We also decided to bundle the basic game and the first expansion together to offer some great savings for anyone who has not yet purchased, and reception has been positive there as well. In addition to all of that, our launch campaign on social media is meeting with good success so far. While now might seem like a good time to let out a collective sigh, there is little time to relax! "Why is that?", you may wonder, well keep reading.

Everyone at the studios is committed to continuing to release game products and supplements well into 2019 and beyond. Already, work has begun on the 2nd expansion for True Agenda. In addition, preliminary work for our next full game has already started some months back, and we are also planning the release of a quarterly publication before the end of this year. This is a pretty hefty release schedule for our limited staff, but everyone is committed to seeing it through. We have done so much already in the nine months since our first product was released, but there is so much more that we want to bring to all of you.

The Winds of Change.. in March no less

The studios have had to keep everything nailed down while the March winds whip around. Even though we have been quiet here and across social media, things have been progressing nicely towards completing the first major expansion for our tabletop roleplaying game, True Agenda. The planned release date is still firmly in our crosshairs as the art and writing move along as expected.

The studios are also excited about the upcoming reveal later this year of our second game title slated for a 2019 release. Artwork has even begun on the cover design, allowing for some new design ideas that differ from what has been done so far. These ideas have actually sparked a new art direction for some of the images to be put into the True Agenda expansion. This is a win-win because who doesn't like seeing something new artistically?

Finally, Drive Thru RPG is having their GM's Day Sale that actually lasts for the next 10 days. The PDF version of True Agenda is one of the represented products, and is available for 33% off! This makes it a great time to pick up a copy for anyone who does not yet own it as this is the biggest discount offered to date.

Release Date was a success!

It came down to the wire for the final approval of the print copies, but everything was launched on time! PDF and print copies are available on our products page and at Drive Thru RPG. The pre order sale on our page has been extended through the end of November, while over at Drive Thru, you can save money by buying a bundle that includes a PDF and print copy of the game. We will also be looking to bring some additional sales to everyone, including Black Friday, which is only a week away.

The new year will be exciting as well, as work will begin on the first expansion for True Agenda beginning in the Jan/Feb timeframe. With the first two expansions already planned, you can expect ongoing support for the game. The studios are also looking to hear from people who have purchased the game, to get their thoughts, ideas, and anything else they would like to share. We want to deliver the best possible games into everyone's hands, and we can do it by listening to our fans and customers. This is only the beginning!

Summer Advertising Blitz

Streaming Circles

Work at the studios has been moving along nicely. The majority of the work is focused on the upcoming game release, along with maintaining the various social media sites, Patreon, the Zazzle store site, and others. Advertising is a key element to the success of any business, and overall the studios have had a relatively small advertisement footprint. Part of this is by design, and part of it is by circumstance.

The "by design" part is because a large effort in advertising is going to erupt once the first game design is ready for launch. This is expected to build up hype beyond what information is already out there and really focus on bringing in interested people to take a look at the game system and make the decision to buy or not. The "by circumstance" element is simply because of all of the different methods of getting the name out to the public, and the myriad of forms that advertising can take often leads, as in this case, to trying out one or two options and see where that gets us. For instance, the Zazzle storefront has picked up a trickling of orders all on its own based on the variety of products for sale and people stumbling upon things that interest them. Page hits on Deviant Art are letting people know about the digital art aspect of the business. Facebook keeps those who are following the business there in the loop, even if they do not regularly come to the main website here. Each of these efforts are paying off, even in small quantities, and have cost next to nothing but the time invested in getting the campaigns off the ground. This works only in so far as keeping operating costs low.

Launching an advertisement campaign is both exciting and nerve wracking. The first major effort will be targeting local businesses to know about the design and branding elements that the studio offers. The first mass mailing will look like the image posted above. Additionally, this type of advertising can go into other areas to gain more attention outside of the surrounding area where the studios exists physically. Measuring success is important when committing financial resources to advertise. Getting a good return on investment (ROI) means that a campaign was successful and may prove beneficial to do again in the future.

Custom Work and Website Additions

Mad Murphy

The studios just finished up a custom piece of pro bono artwork for a good friend. He was gracious enough to allow the work to be done without any idea of the final product and permitted us to showcase the work here and on Facebook. That image is displayed to the right. The costume work was all his and inspired the overall wasteland theme.

The studios finally has its products and services page up and running. For those interested in purchasing custom art or needing some photo editing done, you now can order directly. We will be running a sale for all photo editing and design work for a good while as a way to celebrate the business launch. Please keep in mind though that all files are digital. We can offer some options to physically print the final artwork, but there are additional charges and the need to obtain information like a mailing address that we would otherwise not require. Please also keep in mind that we need to know what you want done specifically, and that necessitates some communication between us and you. Make sure you provide the studios with a way to contact you. Some services might cost more than listed, but in many cases that is avoidable if we know what you want up front.
